Our Mission Statement
It is our mission to meet current and future needs of Yolo County by serving as a regional resource to students, parents, school districts, agencies, and businesses through collaborative leadership, support and services.

The Yolo County Office of Education
provides a wide range of services to the children, parents and school districts of Yolo County from operating schools for children with disabilities to providing payroll, computing, and budgetary oversight services to K-12 school districts.

Program Spotlight

The Yolo County SELPA, in collaboration with the Yolo County Office of Education and Washington School District, has been involved in helping bring a unique adaptive technology to the classroom. Known as “Vgo” this technology is allowing a local student to participate in classroom activities remotely from home through the use of a robotic unit called Vgo.  Watch the video to learn more…
